Tara was a very cute ten-year-old girl. She was a very well behaved, intelligent, smart and innocent girl. Tara moved to a new city with her parents. Though it was a big city, big house than the one where Tara lived earlier, she missed her old house badly.
Tara was getting used to the culture, people and her new surroundings. She made some new friends. Soon, everything started falling into place. She became part of a group of girls near her house.
Although her new friends were nice, they were very loud, whereas Tara was a very polite girl. She had never spoke in loud voice to anyone. Neither had she heard anyone at her home speaking like that.
Initially, she didn’t like the way her new friends spoke, but with time she also became one of them.
One Sunday, Tara was discussing on a topic with her parents. Each one was sharing their own point of views. Suddenly, Tara spoke very loudly to make her point in front of her parents. Her parents were shocked to see her impolite behaviour.
In a very loving manner, Tara’s parents asked her why she was being loud for no reason and from where she got into such habit. Tara told them that her new friends talk in this manner, and she also got used to the same.
Then Tara’s parents made her understand how important it is to be polite and nice to others. Rudeness in behaviour is not a good sign. They told Tara that politeness shows respect towards the other person, it shows how well nurtured and well-mannered a person is.
Tara felt bad for her behaviour and promised her parents that she will always be polite and further, will try and explain the same things to her friends as well.
